Supported by the “neue musikzeitung”, the “Christoph and Stephan Kaske Foundation” announces the JukeBoxx-NewMusic Award. The competition adresses composers and artists working in contemporary Music and media arts, thus giving them a chance to have their current works evaluated by an independent jury.
The winner awaits a price money of € 4000. In case of works created together by composer and video artist, the price money will be splitted in € 2.000 for each artist.
The submitted visualized music should have a duration not exceeding 10 minutes and should contain video productions with interrelated acoustic and visual layers. The jury asks for a production of a visual “Hörspiel” artistically combining contemporary music, electronic or experimental music with media/video arts or digital arts.
The works should be submitted as a video clip of high acoustic and visual quality and must have been composed after January 2022. Participants are permitted to present only a single work.
Application Deadline is September 30th 2025 – 23:59 MEST.
